Differences Between High School And College

I have noticed a few differences between high school and college. I spent all four years in high school, and graduated this past year. I have only spent a half of a semester in college, not giving me a full evaluation of college.

Different ways of traveling

Well, in this short essay I will try to say all good and bad things about all kind of traveling. Of course, I will do it in short, because paper is expensive our days. First of all I will say what I think about walking. So, when you use your foot, of course then it is the cheapest way to get somewhere.

Dream house

To begin with, I must say that for the meantime I live in a five storied building with other buildings around it. My flat is on the fourth floor. The flat has all modern conveniences, but is not very large. As I know many people usually dream about the castle on the bank of the sea with many huge rooms and bathrooms. But I don’t. My dream house is quite different.

Drink and food

I like to make food by myself very much. From the early childhood I have created many new receipts and I think that several are really good. Now I have not much time to do it but after I pass exams I shall definitely continue my experiments.

Education

Education is compulsory in our country. Children start school at the age of seven. They can stay at school for twelve years but some of them leave school at the end of the ninth form.

Everybody has a right to education in Lithuania. The secondary education is compulsory. Nowadays the life in our country is very difficult and a lot of young people don’t go to school, they haven’t even got secondary education. There are a lot of young people, children especially in big town’s streets. Some of them work washing cars, selling papers, some beg and some have nothing to do. These youngsters very often commit crimes. It is very important that every youngster would attend secondary school. They would be busier and couldn’t commit crimes.

The education system has been decentralised for a long time and the school curriculum, the organisation of lessons, and other things vary from school to school. However, education is compulsory for all children from 5 to 16 years of age.

In Lithuania everybody has a right to education. Secondary education is compulsory until 16 years of age. Children start school when they are 6 or 7 years of age. The school year in Lithuania starts at the first of September and lasts nine months.

Education is the key to the person’s career. Everybody want to have a good job, nice car, big house. But not for all people it is possible. Without education it is not possible.

Emotion and aggression

At least six emotions are experienced all over the world: joy, anger, disgust, fear, surprise, and sadness. Conveying and reacting to emotions probably help infants survive and motivate learning. Emotions have physiological, subjective (thought, feeling), and behavioral components, which interact with and influence one another. Emotions are mingled with other emotions and with motives. They are constantly changing.
