TRANSPORT IN LITHUANIA In Lithuania we have a wide transport web. Thousands of cars, trolleybuses, buses and taxis are driving on Lithuania’s roads. Usually those who use buses are students, pupil or people who get lower earnings. To drive on bus is not expensive and your journey will be pretty short, but public transport has few disadvantages. Firstly, on rush hours buses are crowded and people feel bad about that. Besides, buses are filthy. I think that the buses’ park should take care of that and try to clean buses more. Another problem that scares people away from public transport is aggressive and asocial people. Some of them even live in public transport as if it’s their home. Many families in Lithuania have one or two cars. Other has cars for each member of their family. This huge member of cars causes many troubles: car-jams, accidents, air pollution... It‘s only few of many troubles that cars make. Another way how to get from one point to another is taxi. This mean of transport is usually used by richer people and for other it’s luxury. Taxi cars are pretty clean and music is always turned on there, besides taxi drivers are good guides if you don’t know the city. In conclusion, even Lithuania is a small country, but the transport system is quite good. Maybe we will have metro or fast trains system and our transport will become even greater.
