Išsamus aprašymas
IT IS THE DISCUSSION AIMED AT REACHING A FINAL AGREEMENT.
Each of us negotiates informally many times a day. It might be:
1. negotiating with the neighbors on playing loud music;
2. bargaining with farmer selling fruit;
3. persuading teachers to give better grades;
and hundreds more…
Sometimes we manage to resolve it on better terms for ourselves.
Sometimes we fail while doing this and become quite upset because of it.
A good negotiator tries to set a pleasant atmosphere at the beginning of a negotiation.
2. A good negotiator wants to reach
an agreement that would satisfy the
interests of both sides.
3. A good negotiator tends to choose
long-term goals and gives time for
an agreement to be improved.
. A bad negotiator chooses the immediate results instead of gaining real benefits.
2. A bad negotiator is often at a loss to handle the situation.
3. A bad negotiator has very limited objectives.
