People have an opportunity to chose where they want to live. A place a person lives in, whether it is a house or a flat, has advantages and disadvantages. There are a lot of advantages of living in the house. The major advantage is privacy. People can do everything what they want and nobody disturbes them. They can make parties and barbecues. They even can turn on the music at full blast at nighttime and they do not hear any complaints. Secondly, the house is spacious. There might be one or two bedrooms, a sitting room, nursery and even a study. There also can be an equipped sport room and the sun porch. The attic can be used for living too. Moreover, the house is usually surrounded by its territory. There can be a yard, little garden for vegetables and flowers. There also might be the swimming pool where people can have a rest after a long difficult workday. Parents can also equip a playground for their children. On the other hand, there are some disadvantages. Firstly, people who live far away from others can feel isolated. They have to walk a long distance to see their neighbors. It is not convenient if people have to get to the job or to take children to school. In addition, if a family has children, they might feel lonely. Teenagers need to meet pupils of the same age. Young people are very energetic, so they can not stay still and usually they have to do something to pass the time lively. Children might become withdrawn without friends. Lastly, the house demands a lot of work around. There are a lot of rooms to be tidied, dishes washed up and floors polished. The outside territory requires a lot of care, too. The garden needs weeding, which takes a lot of time. In conclusion, even though a house needs a lot of care, it is more private. There are more freedoms. A person escapes from the city noise and the annoying people there. Everyone is free to make a choice.
